December 17, 2004 The year is winding down and as I look around my house, I see a lot of cleaning to do. With that, I will be taking the next two weeks off. Bruce Sylvester will fill in with what I'm sure will be a lovely Christmas special. Then on New Year's Eve Keith (of BoC) and Patrick (Subject to Change) will host the stations Top 100 of 2004. So I have left you in very capable hands. And I get to listen too! I'll be back on January 7, 2005. Thanks for all the kind emails and phone calls lately about the show change. It warms my heart to hear you'all care and miss that 'last half hour.' I'm still adapting to the new duration myself and hope the addition of 'nut-job song of the week' and other changes will tempt you to make sure you tune in at 4pm (if not earlier). The show is meaner and leaner, and if you feel I've trimmed too much, let me know. Likewise, if I've changed to much. It's still community radio and I'm always open to hearing what you'all enjoy, or what we could do without. That said, I make no promises. I wish you all a wonderful and safe holiday season. Until next year. - Joan December 8, 2004 Last Friday on 3RC was the debut of 'nut-job' song of the week. The morning show's have their band of the week, Lost Highway has their song of the week and well, I was feeling left out. Not to be outdone, I decided we all needed a song to lift our spirits and make us smile. Who better than a nut-job. For our maiden nut-job song of the week we went local. Chandler Travis (aka Channy & Johnny) with the song "Christmas in Athol" from his new release "Another Christmas Gift for You" (Sonic Trout). Got a nut-job song, something that won't incur the wrath of the FCC? Email it to me and listen at 5:00 p.m. For your weekly does of nut-job happiness. November 15, 2004 BR549 rocked on the 3RC the other day... ooooh weee. And what a hot show at Johnny D's! Pictures pending. Don't forget to tune in next week for an in-studio performance by the Drive By Truckers. We caught up with them when they were in town in September and each of the front men take a turn at a tune... a DBT guitar pull on the 3RC. For those that donated to WMBR during our fund drive THANKS! And if you haven't mailed in your check, please take a moement to do it NOW. And wrap a note around the check telling us what you like (and don't like) about WMBR. We always want to hear from you. If you're lazy, you can always drop me an email. I always like to hear from 3RC listeners. November 6, 2005 Thanks to everyone who pledge yesterday on 3RC!! Even with the new 'mean and lean' format, you guys still show you care. Warm fuzzies all around. Also note, the next 2 weeks of 3RC, we'll have performances by BR549 (Nov. 12) and Drive By Truckers (Nov. 19). And we can do all this fun stuff, cuz folks like you have been digging deep into your pockets and providing the funds to let us 'make it happen.' Again many thanks!!! November 4, 2004 Today is day one of WMBR's annual fund drive. I know, I know...all this talky talk... just play the freakin' music for chrise sakes! Tomorrow, that's just what I'll do. But let's get this out of the way, just give us your damn money. Feel comforted that I'll be playing highlights of performances this past year on Three Ring Circus including Southern Culture on the Skids (who smoked on election night), Detroit Cobras, Ollabelle and a whole bunch more. And if that isn't persuasive enough, for every pledge over $25 to Three Ring Circus, you'll get a compilation of these fine performance as my personal thank you. All you gotta do is cough up some dough. Call 617.253.8810 or pledge online here. There's also other great premiums to choose from. Just make sure to select "Three Ring Circus" to get your CD (or tell them on the phone). But I hope you can tune in Friday 4:00 - 5:30 pm, it'll be fun. Oh and before I forget, next week on 3RC, in-studio performance with BR549. It just don't stop. November 3, 2004 OK, the Kerry loss sobered me up from my World Series buzz, ... please pass the Advil. October 28, 2004 The Boston Red Sox win the World Series... I can't believe I am typing these words. Much will be said in the coming weeks, but I did happen to have my camera the last two Wednesday nights to capture a bit of Red Sox Nation after games 7 of the ALCS Championship and last night's World Series win. And if Boston can win the World Series, there is hope for Kerry. So get out there and vote next Tuesday, but before you exercise your civic duty, tune into 3RC tomorrow, when local artist Andrea Gillis drops by to chat about her upcoming release. And next week kicks off WMBR's annual fund drive - Thursday Nov. 4 - Wednesday Nov. 10, with a special 3RC edition on November 5, playing highlights the previous year of 3RC... live performances and surprises. Don't miss it and don't forget to support WMBR. October 13, 2004 Whew... I've returned from back to back trips out of town. I logged over 9K air miles in 10 days -whew. Big Thanks to Doug Gesler and Patrick for filling in for me the last 2 weeks, though it feels like longer. I have some good news and some bad news. First the good news, Three Ring Circus is back on the schedule for the Fall, however the news has been shifted back a half hour, so 3RC is now leaner and meaner airing 4-5:30pm. So don't dilly dally, tune in early so you don't miss anything. September 24, 2004 Fall is here and have you checked out the events calendar lately? Jeez, tons to see and do. Today on 3RC, we'll have an in-studio performance by Jake Brennan (he'll be bringing along a Confidence Man). Later tonight he'll be at the Middle East celebrating his release of Love & Bombs (Yep Roc). It's a great release, great song-writing and performances. A definite keeper. Today Jake will talk about the release, the journey to get it released and play a couple tunes from the release. So tune in. Last week on 3RC we had a great acoustic performance by L.P. (pictured here with Johnny Hickman of Cracker at this year's SXSW festival) Man, can she sing! Her new release "Suburaban Sprawl & Alcohol" continues to grow on me. Some day, the masses will catch on to her, until then 3RC listeners can brag to their friends "I knew her when..." The Drive By Truckers did make it to the WMBR studios when they were in town earlier in the month. (tip: don't drink with Shonna, she is waaaay too generous with the tequila - ow! my head). Their in-studio acoustic performance was a real treat. Patterson, Mike and Jason all took the lead on a tune. A regular 3RC guitar pull. We'll air that on an upcoming edition of 3RC. So come back for details. August 30, 2004 Yikes more technical problems. WMBR has experienced a technical problem with our transmitter and is currently off the air. You can read about our progress here. Sorry for the inconvenience. We hope absence makes the heart grow fonder!! We should be back on the air for this week's Three Ring Circus. So do come back! August 20, 2004 I got my PC back, but am building it back up slowly... merging data from the last couple weeks will take time, as well as updating playlists and updates to the photo gallery. Big thanks to Doug Gesler (Lost Highway - Sat. 8a-10a) for doing double duty on the Events Calendar. It's midnight and I have to get to it...but 'nuff of my griping, some notes from the last month. It's been slow in the clubs, the last 3 Saturdays has seen scant audiences and really great shows. Eric "Roscoe" Ambel, the return of Bobby Bare Jr. and White Hassle. I guess everyone has been at the shed shows or one of the many festivals that have been happening (one can only hope). I did go to a day (Sunday) at the Newport Folk Festival and a rock show broke out. Wilco was elastic with Tweedy stretching from the self-described 'showman' slithering ala loung lizard during "Hummingbird" to screeching walls of dissonent sound while barking "I am Trying to Break Your Heart." The harmonies by the Dixie Hummingbirds blessed the afternoon after a Ollabelle kicked off the sermon of the day. Doc Watson impressed with his graceful picking and newcomers Crooked Still and Old Crow Medicine Show breathed new life into bluegrass. Not a dud all day. The Lonesome Brothers continue their Tuesday night August residency at the Lizard Lounge. Last Tuesday was a double-treat from Northampton, with openers Ware River Club. Two more nights to check 'em out, and this Tuesday Dennis Brennan will be opening. Show starts at 9pm and the cover is only $5. Can't beat it with a stick. Tonight is the Sweet Harmony tour at the Fleet Pavillion with Emmylou Harris, Gillian Welch, Buddy & Julie Miller. Sweet harmony indeed. And if you need a southern breeze, the Allman Brothers are at the Tweetah Center tomorrow night with the pride of San Antonio, Los Lonely Boys, opening. If you need something noisier, The Konks, Spitz and Mystery Girls at TTs. July 29, 2004 Well you'll have to wait even longer for playlists postings and other updates. The hard drive to my PC croaked. Good news is I got most of my data, the bad news is I won't have easy access to the web site for a while... and it will look all screwy like this if I edit it out of Dreamweaver. How long for updates? Not sure, I'm still fighting with the manufacturer (Sony) to fix it under the warranty (Sony is rapidly falling from grace here). In the meantime the events calendar will be updated weekly by my good pal Doug Gesler of Lost Highway fame. Photo updates and news postings will also have to wait. While I'm here, I will mention the acoustic sets by Drive By Truckers, Patterson Hood, Jason Isbell and Shonna Tucker at the Middle East upstairs on Monday was well worth the $30. What a treat (pics later). They will be back in Sept. w/ Allison Moorer at the Paradise. I took a trip to 'ground zero' at the DNC on Monday. And there was nothing going on. I did talk to the cops for about an hour about digital cameras (which they all sported on their belts... gun, nightstick, camera..) and learned we have some really weird law enforcement. In a good way. I may elaborate on that tomorrow during the show. Well until my computer is back up and running. Enjoy your summer, be good to each other and support music. And if you haven't registered to vote, do it now! July 22, 2004 Apologies for the late playlist postings. I took the train in last month and left the laptop at home. Thanks for all the calls and emails this week. Many of you have voice frustration about the streams being full and missing shows. Especially frustrating when we have a live guest on. The good news is, our technical staff is working to bump up our streaming capacity AND archive shows. It will be a short-term archive, 2 weeks, but should be enough time for you to tune into the Circus if you miss the action live. Last night Doug Gesler (Lost Highway Sat. 8a-10a) did dual DJ duties at the River Gods last night. I snuck in some live tracks from 3RC performances and demos along with the format of "Primitive Sounds." Well, I didn't stick too close to format, but folks seemed to have fun. We might do it again late August, if you want to know about it, check the events calendar, or zip me an email. I'm thinking of starting an email list for upcoming 3RC events - live events and stuff like that. Tell me what you would find helpful. I'm heading out tonight to catch the Dirtbombs at the Middle East and hopefully sneak a peek beforehand to Rich Robinson's last night at Brother Jimmy's. Maybe I'll catch ya in the clubs. Also learned Bobby Bare Jr is coming back to Harper's Ferry on Saturday Aug. 7th. If you missed him the first time, don't be a fool and miss him a second time. July 12, 2004 Eh, technical difficulties prevented me from airing the interview with Rich Robinson. Too bad, it was a good one. Rich was candid about the Hookah Brown affair, Eddie bagging on the residencies and leading his own band (The Hookah guys had high expectations for fame & fortune, Eddie is still up to no good and unreliable and just decided to lead the band himself. Probably should have started that way, but probably "had good to go through to get there.") I did get Rich to do an acoustic version of "Enemy" from his upcoming release "Paper" due to hit the streets Aug. 24. in the backroom of the club and was able to air it. So it wasn't a total bust. Rich has 2 more nights of his residency at Brother Jimmy's (the former site of House of Blues in Harvard Square), July 15 and 22nd. I recommend you check it out. The room is pretty much the same, sans plaster busts, and the attitude is way mellower. I just got the advance of "Paper." Lots of top-notch guitar shredding as you would expect, but also some nice surprises as Rich begins to flex his new muscles as a lyricist and vocalist. Definitely worth a school night excersion. July 6, 2004 This Friday on the Three Ring Circus Rich Robinson (Black Crowes) will perform and chat about his upcoming release "Paper" due August 24th (we'll even sneak in a couple tracks). He's doing a Thursday night residency in July at Jimmy's (former site of House of Blues, Harvard Sq) July 8, 15 and 22, which he'll be dipping into the new material plus covers. This is the first time Rich has been fronting a band and Rolling Stone compares his voice to Jeff Tweedy. Hey, that's pretty good in my book, but tune in this Friday and see for yourself... or pop down to Jimmy's. Ah, hell do both. I will. And straight from Nashville Bobby Bare Jr. will be on Three Ring Circus the following Friday on July 16. He was in town at the end of June and just wowed 'em at Harper's Ferry. I can't say enough about Bobby. He's a craftsman of song, a manipulator of genres, acerbic hippie, mellow punk rocker. I love this guy! His new release "At the End of Your Leash" (Bloodshot) is already proving to be one of my favorites of the year. And speaking of Nashville and the Black Crowes, I saw Chris Robinson & New Earth Mud at the Paradise last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised to see Audley Freed was doing axe duty (he's living in Nashville these days and promises me an update on Job Cain) and Rob Barracco (Phil & Friends) on keyboards. The guy next to me kept saying "Who is that keyboard player? He's good." Traveling with Phil and Friends will sharpen those chops. A great show and a pretty good crowd overall. I don't know who was not paying attention that got Chris all cheesed off at "Boston crowds." Perhaps it was BU students that didn't go home this summer. Note to Chris: They don't represent Boston. They just pee here and leave. The folks in my area were all ears. June 22 Dale Watson did make it to the WMBR studios, but the traffic delayed him, so there wasn't time to do a live set:-( But we did manage a lively interview. Dale talked about his latest release "Dreamland" (Koch) and his upcoming movie "Angel of Austin" which he'll start filming this fall opposite Martin Sheen (who plays the devil by the way). Their performance later that night at Johnny D's was a big ol' slab of Austin, right here in town. Yee Haw! The better they played, the more I growled "damn! I wish they played a live set on 3RC!" Dale assures me - next time they will. I'm holdng him to it. Speaking of Austin, a Boston band that would certainly get their attention down to Austin, is the Coachmen. Allan Sheinfeld (Spurs, Electric Logs) on vocals/guitar, Jerry "Jimmy Bryant" Miller (Spurs) on the guitar and Johnny Sciascia (Spurs, Tarbox Ramblers, Cranktones) slapping the stand-up bass. What a party (apologies to Chris Isaak) and to top it off openers Lynnette & the Trailer Park Two featuring Lynnette Lenker (sister of Allan) and Slappin' Mike (Coffin Lids, Speed Devils) on bass and Red Soares (Speed Devils, Stumbleweeds) on guitar made a nice appetizer to the evening with their honky-tonk, country tunes. And for dessert Lynnette & Allan reprised a couple Country Bumpkin tunes that brought a tear to the eye. Family fun for all, well over the age of 21. I moved out of the country roots mode Sunday night and went into groove mode and caught J.J. Cale at the Paradise. He played an easy set of classics (Cocaine & Call Me the Breeze) as well as dipping into new material from his latest "From Tulsa & Back" (Sanctuary). The 6 piece band had an infectious repoire that put the nearly sold-out Paradise crowd into a really groovy mood. A perfect end to yet another great weekend of music in Boston. June 18 Just got off the phone with Dale Watson. He's coming in with the band and will play a few songs and chat about his latest release "Dreamland" sometime around 5pm. Tell a friend and tune in. Dale is playing tonight at Johnny D's. A rare opportunity to see real Texas Honky-Tonk in little ole' Davis Square. June 3 Hmmm, I thought I updated this info last week. I guess I was anxious to enjoy the holiday weekend. I moved the in-studio performance of Detroit Cobras for tomorrow afternoon, at 5pm. You do not want to miss this one. Their set includes 4 new songs never heard on radio - a WMBR exclusive. The new songs, all covers, will be included on their upcoming release on Rough Trade. Rachael and Mari discuss the new songs and the upcoming release after their set. May 21, 2004 No Eddie Spaghetti Interview today. They were running waaaay late on Monday before their Big Show at the Middle East. They cruised into town from Buffalo at 8pm, not much time to recharge the batteries, but you wouldn't know it. They played a 2+ hour set. No break, straight through. A highlight for me, was Rontrose donning a pair of groucho glasses impersonating Joe Walsh, then kicking into a James Gang riff... Good stuff. Last night, Vernon Reid and his band Masque torqued the brain with wizzing guitar riffs and an interesting use of a computer keyboard and synthesizer. Pictures to come. Check back soon. May 7, 2004 I hope you'll tune in for a performance by Peter Mulvey a singer-songwriter who spent some time busking in Davis Sq. before returning to his hometown on Milwaukee. He'll be playing at the Regent Theater tomorrow night. Be there or be square. Last night, I ducked into to catch Jake Brennan and the Confidence Men at the Rumble. I'm glad I dragged myself out, not only for the great set (which they won the night for), but because their pedal-steel player, Steve Malone, is moving the California! So it was his last Boston gig :-( We'll miss 'em for sure. Good Luck Steve! In film and movie land... I checked out a few films at last week's Independent Film Festival. Kudos to Double Dare, a documentary that shows the behind the scenes of women in stunt work, including Zoe Bell (New Zealand) who doubled for Uma Thurman in Kill Bill (great stunt work) and Jeannie Epper, who put the 'wonder' in Wonder Women. And last night kicked off the Boston Underground Film Festival (BUFF). Unfortunately, I was only able to check out half of the shorts curated by Jim Jarmusch...since they started 45 minutes late! Here's a tip. If you are running so late, don't spend 10 minutes prattling on about why and other films you hope the audience sees over the weekend. Start the 'freakin movie!!!. Flame aside, highlights were William Burrough's Towers on Fire, a Max Fleishcer animation and the Ole Dirty Bastards video "Dirty Money" ?. April 24, 2004 Great set yesterday from Ollabelle. Big Thanks to the band and to resident engineer guru, Kyle Bittenger. The band will return to the Lizard Lounge on April 29, then on March 31st at the Fleet Pavilion as part of Allison Krauss's The Great High Mountain Tour. So check 'em out in an intimate setting while you can. Last weekend I discovered a great new venue. Not really new, but new to me, as I have never been to the National Heritage Museum. Embarrassing yes, as I tend to go east to see show and not west. And this one about 2 miles from my house! Anyhoo, we checked out the Persuasions' show last Saturday night. They were fabulous, lots of energy, still sounding good, and they sure worked the room. Check out the pictures here. April 15, 2004 Tune in this Friday for a solo electric performance by Dexter Romweber (ex-Flat Duo Jets). Set time 5 pm. ET. Updates to the photo gallery this week are from Austin and include Mary McBride, Anna Fermin's Trigger Gospel and Sarah Borges. April 12, 2004 I only dipped out for one night of music this weekend. I saw Lambchop and the Pernice Brothers downstairs at the Middle East. Both shows were good, but I found the Lambchop crowd a bit 'unfriendly' and uptight. Strange given the mellow noodlings of Lambchop, but then again their sound is a little 'heavy.' Perhaps folks were cranky because it was so gosh darn crowded and hot. Things loosened up for the Pernice Brothers' set, which was much more upbeat, and that certainly put the crowd in a 'friendlier' mood, which made the rest of the night more pleasant. New to the photo gallery Mojo Nixon's last show at the Continental Club in Austin. Yes, he's retired "I'm done" says the Perry Mason of Love "no one listening anyway." Could it be the end? Mojo continues "Mojo can't have a reunion tour I Mojo don't retire." Whew... until then you can enjoy these pictures. Also new to the photo gallery, Cracker at SXSW, with guest performance by L.P.! Tune in this Friday, April 16, for a performance by Dexter Romweber (Flat Duo Jets). He's playing tonight at Charlie's Kitchen in Harvard Square. Don't miss this rare performance. April 8, 2004 Just getting back from the Flatlanders show at the Paradise. Well doggie! It was nice to have a little bit of Texas here in Beantown as we await Spring. It was nice to be able to hang up in the balcony and see them on a big stage, unlike in Austin under the itty, bitty tent. I'm not complaining mind you, it was just easier to do the West Texas Waltz! April 3, 2004 Hopefully you tuned in yesterday and caught a scorching set by Southern Culture on the Skids. Wooooeeee, those guys can play! I'm slowly adding pictures from Austin. It's going to take some time. I have a new camera and the images are a lot bigger and more time consuming to manage, but the quality is better! If you favorite band isn't up yet, they will be. You can always drop me a line and prod me along, no guarantees, but I generally respond if you're nice about it. March 23, 2004 Tune in this Friday March 26, for a recap on SXSW, film and music festival. Film highlights include interviews with filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (Super Size Me) winner best Director at this year's Sundance Festival and the director and cast members of Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story. Blackballed won this year's SXSW Audience Award for Best Narrative Feature. Let's hope for national distribution for this hilarous film that features Rob Corddry (Daily Show) and Boston's own D.J. Hazzard. I'm still compiling music highlights, but expect some introductions to new bands from Australia and points unknown as well as new finds from the good ol' USA. March 5, 2004 Tune in today for an interview and preview of Ollabelle Their self-titled debut (Sony/Columbia) is a soulful mix of blues, gospel and country with 6 vocalists who have amazing harmonies. Ollabelle is due in stores March 9th. They will be at this year's Newport Folk Festival as well as the Cold Mountain tour with Allison Krauss. But you can catch them one last time at the Lizard Lounge on March 30th. Praise the Lord! In addition to Ollabelle at the Lizard Lounge this past Wednesday. I scooted over to TTs and caught the Fat Possum Juke Joint Caravan. Great sets by Paul 'Wine' Jones, T. Model Ford and Kenny Brown (with Cedric Burnside on the drums). Biggest flirt of the evening? Hands down- T. Model Ford! Tuesday night, I hit the sold out Grant Lee Phillips show at TTs. I missed opening act, local fave Jake Brennan (damn!) and then crammed into the partition bar. The sound was a bit boomy there and I just couldn't get comfortable. So I went to the back of the bar and played my first game of pool there; one win, one loss. I'm heading out to SXSW next week. Patrick Bryant will fill in on the 12th and John Funke on the 19th. I have left you all in *very* capable hands. On the 26th, expect a full report on SXSW with tons on new music and features on the Conference. April 2, we have a tentative in-studio performance by Southern Culture on the Skids. They will be a the Middle East on Wed. March 31st. It should be a good one. They are back to a 3 piece and their new one "Mojo Box" (Yep Roc) is a humdinger! February 22, 2004 Things are thawing and now Spring teases. Will we get it in March or May? Being a native New Englander, I don't take chances, I head south. This year I choose Austin again for SXSW. I'll be bringing back more music, pictures and stories to share for a special show on March 26th. In my absence Patrick Bryant (Subject to Change) will fill in March 12 and John Funke (Backwoods) on March 19th. I gave John a condition that he play new music. So if he veers, you let me know;-) I'm especially excited this year as I have invested in a new digital camera. So last night I took her out and had a mini SXSW experience right here in Boston. First stop was the Regent Theater in Arlington where we saw Bonnie Bramlett (of Delaney and Bonnie). Her voice is smokier these days and her act is a bit smaltzy for me, but the crowd loved it. We skipped over to the Middle East Downstairs and caught some of Beefy DC (AC/DC Covers with a rather...ahhh... Beefy front man). But no matter, if you rock there will always be hot chicks up front... and there were (ok, maybe they were drunk). I slipped out to take in a little of the Tarbox Ramblers at TT the Bears. It was their CD release party for "a fix back east" and it was a nice surprise to see Rich Gilbert (Blackstone Valley Sinners, Frank Black ++) sitting in. The set was cooking and I almost got caught up, but I remember I can't stay! Must get back to the Middle East Downstairs to see The Bags. Rock! Rock! Rock! I ended the night with a bit of friendly schmoozing, it seemed everyone was out and in a good mood. And just like SXSW there were acts I just couldn't squeeze in. Apologies to The Woggles, Burning Sensations, Dirty Dozen Brass Band and the gang at Shaun & Suzi's Mardi Gras party... whew! And just like SXSW, you'll miss more than you could possibly see. So ya, we are pretty gosh darn lucky here in Beantown. January 27, 2004 I hope you all are enjoying the new year. My batteries are having a hard time recharging with all these sub-zero temperatures. brrrrrrrrrr Though I'm finding the energy to get out to the clubs. They are warm and smoke free! After her killer set on last Friday's Three Ring Circus, Sarah Borges and the Confidence Men gave the rock crowd at TTs a healthy dose of twang. And they loved it. Sarah was also part of the "Get In Here & Eat" CD release party and Project Bread benefit at the Regent Sunday night along with a great sampling of Boston's roots rock scene and yummy BBQ from Blue Ribbon. It's a great CD for a great cause (details here). We've already started spinning it on 3RC with more tracks to hear in the coming weeks. Many of these artists have residencies (free) around Cambridge and Somerville... if only you'd get off your duff and check them out. The 3RC events calendar lists most of them. Oh did I mention the little jam session after the show at Toad? Peter Wolf, Barrence Whitfield, Duke Levin, Sarah, Jake Brennan and a many others crashed the Sunday night Americana sit-in to, well, sit-in. Highlight was the sing along to Doug Sahm's "(Is Anybody Going to) San Antone?" I guess I'm not the only one dreaming of warm locales. Probably the hottest show on the coldest night this month went to Levon Helm's Midnight Ramble with Uncle Remus and the Whole Show at Levon's studio in Woodstock, NY. You can see pictures and read more about it here. I did squeeze in some new pictures. Check out Cheap Trick when they were at the Orpheum last September. And the Mercy Brothers, when Vidar Busk was in from Norway to wield his axe with them at Toad. January 1, 2004 Happy New Year! I've been taking a couple weeks off to recharge my batteries and will be back on the air January 9. I may do a best of/recap of 2003 or may not. Not sure if you've heard too much of that yet. Perhaps when my batteries are 'recharged' a bit more, I'll have a good answer. I hope you all have a great new year! |
