Relaxed, confident and strong, Hiatt played songs from his upcoming release "Behind This Rough Exterior" to an eager crowd on this warm Texas afternoon. A waittress in a diner "Cut my Bitter with your Sweet Talk" and 'working with a kid' while singing about his dog in "Best Walk Around." Getting 'kids and animals' out of the way Hiatt took requests and settled on obliging the audience with "Crossing Muddy Waters." Check out John's web site here.
