Meat Purveyors

The Meat Purveyors lead singer Jo Walston was drunk and pissed at the Bloodshot party. Drunk with the free beer and pissed at Th'Legendary Shack*Shakers who opened for them. Jo took every opportunity to threaten Th' LSS to "violate each and every one of them (LSS)." Having missed the LSS, I couldn't picture what they had done to "out shock" the Meat Purveyors. Later I found out and well, I can see why Jo was pissed, but I still think the Meat Purveyors are a wee bit scary. They did put on a great set, full of biting lyrics, feirce playing and a bit of tom foolery. They certainly kept this Austin crowd happy (and at bay).
