The Bags

Certainly not phoning it in, The Fuckin' Bags took the stage at TTs by force, diving into new tracks from their release "Sharpen Your Sticks" (Oaf). Unlock the Cage started the madness and was shortly followed by Caveman Rejoice. Jon Hardy's bass pounding and sliding, Jim Januta pounding the skins, Crispin Wood spinning and posing while picking off guitar licks was a tremendous joy. And if that wasn't enough, Antler frontman, Craig Riggs, sang The Beauty of the Bud and the audience went wild. I swear I could smell weed. Next up, Konks frontman, Kurt Davis, leads the band through an animated version of Joyride. For the guest-shot hat trick, Neighborhoods' Dave Minehan and Lee Harrington take the stage for a blistering version of Love Sick Dianne. Below are some highlights of the action, but pictures cannot capture the sheer joy this crowd had. It was truly a Boston Rock&Roll moment. They will be talking about this show for a while... glad I braved the cold and made the trip.
