February 20, 2003 T.T. the Bears: Cambridge, MA
A great set by this Ohio performer. Tim's new release "Break Your Mother's Heart" just hit the stores this week and it's a good 'en as we've been playing much of it on the circus the past couple months. Tim played much of the new release plus his earlier work and a tip of the hat to Johnny Paycheck who recently pass away, playing his track "Lexington Jail." Great stuff. Openers Jay Bennett & Ed Burch joined Tim on stage many times during Tim's set you'll see them in some of the shots below. I'll post their set at a later date. The night ended with a wild version of the Beatles' "She's So Heavy" having Jay on tamborine and Ed on vocals with Tim Easton's bass/dobro player Keith. Enjoy! See more pictures of Tim at SXSW and solo acoustic at TTs.
